I’m late with my family favorites post this month! Sorry, but as you know… I took a break from reality, which made me a little bit behind on my blog posts!

Arrow Necklace
I have been loving this cheapie necklace I ordered from Jane.com. I actually ordered three of them, one for me and the other two for my two best friends. For some reason, when I saw them I just thought they would also like it and since I think they cost 4 bucks or something crazy like that, I figured they were the perfect no-reason-at-all gift. When I got them in, I sent them off to my girls with a mushy card telling them both how much they mean to me. (I will spare you the details) They are very appropriate since we all went to FSU, but I didn’t think of that right away… which both of my friends have since made fun of me for. (since they thought I was SUPER creative and realized that when I bought them… but I just thought they were cute) I wrote about how important it is to spend time with your friends, and this is another way I wanted them to know how special they are to me. Now when I wear it, I think of them.. and all the fun times we have shared together.

Quorn Patties
When my sweet hubby was getting his masters, he actually wrote an entire paper on this food product. They were brand new to the U.S. at that time, and he was fascinated by it. Quorn is a soy-free, GMO-free, meatless food. It is made up of Mycoprotein, which is super complicated for me to explain so just click here to learn about it. I think they are really good, and lately we have been super busy, so my husband has been eating them again… a lot. When he doesn’t have time to make breakfast, he throws a few of these in the microwave and has a meal ready in minutes.

Everything Ninja!
My son is obsessed with anything and everything ninja related right now. Ninja shirts, toys, games… you name it. He asked for a ninja costume for his birthday and he has been wearing it non-stop. I ordered it from amazon.com and I have to say I am very impressed with the look & quality. It even came with a little ninja toy. Can’t beat that for 20 bucks. He has also been playing a ninja game on coolmath.com… which is a website his teacher told him about. It is a bunch of games that also teaches him math skills. I also lucked out by finding a bunch of ninja toys at the dollar store when I went to get supplies for his beach birthday party. I included some in his bye-bye bag when we got a sitter, and gave him some for his birthday.

Beaded Necklace
My girl & I are both loving necklaces this month! Mila is obsessed. (I got them from Jane.com as well, I spend way too much money there!) She is always trying to open the drawer where they are at to pull one out. I bought these for her since she LOVES taking my necklaces off and wearing them. She has a pink and neon yellow one. They are super stretchy so she can put them on and take them off by herself, which makes her very excited. (they are actually on Jane.com again today…. I just ordered 3 more!)
