Awesome Anniversary Gifts with Uncommon Goods

*I’ve partnered with Uncommon Goods to bring you this post*

Awesome Anniversary Gifts

This year my husband and I are celebrating 12 years of marriage! I met Donnie when I was just 19 years old at Florida State University. After being together for 17 years, we have our gift giving down. We tell each other what we want, when we want something. It may not be the most romantic idea, but we aren’t really “gift” people, so it works for us. However, every once in awhile we surprise each other with some really great gifts. The best gifts for us are usually thoughtful, personalized or completely unexpected.

Awesome anniversary gifts

When I am feeling stumped on a cool gift idea, I have a few places I check out and one of those is the website Uncommon Goods. They have the coolest stuff, especially when you are looking for gift ideas. I love getting my friends necklaces that have some sort of meaning and they have an awesome selection of unique jewelry. I love their Uncommon Collection line too, which meets 5 standards for design and social responsibility. I almost always can find something my husband would want or think is cool. If you also have an anniversary coming up, here’s a fun roundup of gifts for your sweetie (and a few hints to drop on gifts you would want!)

What I Love About You Book: This sweet and simple book is full of prompts that you fill in. Your loved one will receive a customized book to remind them how special they are to you!

Tree Trunk Glassware: This would be perfect for my husband and I, since I am a wino and he prefers cocktails. I think the whole tree stump idea with the date included is super cute.

Personalized Faux Bois Vase: Have I mentioned I love this whole tree stump look? ha! I love this vase and I think it would be an awesome gift to receive from my hubby, especially since he still brings me home flowers all the time!

Latitude and Longitude Cufflinks: I would get these with the coordinates for Tallahassee, where we met. I like the idea that my husband can think of me when he sees them, but other people wouldn’t know what the numbers stood for.

Anniversary Wine Box: I love this idea! This will help for those times you have a really good bottle of wine, but don’t know when you should drink it! (& the whole tree engraving look… AGAIN)

Sexy Truth or Dare: Cause, you know, sex.

Whisky Wedge: This is a perfect gift, since it is something I know my husband would never buy for himself, but would totally enjoy using it if he actually had it.

Custom Morse Code Necklace: You can customize this with anything you like, and I know very few people who can visually read morse code, so you can basically put whatever you want on this and no one will know what it will say. So your husband can create you a necklace that says “Sweet Cheeks” and no one would know that is what your necklace means. My husband would coose something way more inappropriate I am sure, which is one of the million reasons why I love him.

Ha, my husband and I met at the University of Florida 17 years ago, when we were 19. We’re celebrating 12 years of marriage this year, too :). Congrats!!
