It’s time for my May Stitch Fix review! It has been a few months since I have done a Stitch Fix post, since I took off from posting for a bit while I was updating my website. I have still been getting boxes and I am still seriously obsessed with the service. My stylist, Layla, is my new best friend even though I have never met her or spoke to her in person… but she sends me the sweetest notes in my fix so I am pretty sure she feels the same way. π Β I started to get very specific with what I wanted and she did comply, but I found she actually selected things I liked more than the items I thought I wanted. Last month, I got an adorable outfit that I would have never even tried on otherwise. (my husband LOVES when I try everything on, since he says it is fun to see me in different types of clothes than what I normally wear… and he also likes making fun of me in the stuff that he thinks is crazy. I still love him though, almost as much as I love Layla)

My Stitch Fix outfit I got last month… so cute!! (the top is by Skies are Blue and the jeans are Mavi)
I have recently started ‘peeking’ in on my fixes, since there is a way you can kind of cheat and see what you are getting before it actually arrives. The fabulous girls over on the Stitch Fix boards taught me that. If you have the Stitch Fix app (I think this feature only works on the iPhone version) when it says your item has shipped you can click the ‘checkout’ button and scroll through what you got. Then just click the back button and it won’t charge you or anything like that. I always say I am NOT going to peek since part of the fun is opening the box and having no idea what is inside, but now that I have learned this trick I simply do not have the willpower to wait.
Here’s what I got this month!

I call this my “I feel so awkward standing here while my husband takes my picture” face. #nailedit

My sweet girl always there to help me out!

LOVE this dress!

That Daniel Rainn Sheera Split Neck Knit Top looks great on you! I always feel like Daniel Rainn is too boxy for me, so see why you may not have kept it.

Yes I just didnt like the print too much… I normally love tops like this too
I’ve tried stitch fix too and usually love it, but wasn’t super impressed with my most recent one either. Love the dress you chose to keep & either way it’s hand picked & shipped to you, so always fun to try!

It made a huge difference once I found a stylist who listened to me.. I asked if I could get her every time and each fix gets better and better.. since she is starting to ‘get’ my style
oooo I love the Maggy London. I’m the same way about patterns but that one is beautiful and looks great on you. I also love the one after it…the Chana Embroidered. Very classy look!
Yes I love the dress I kept.. perfect and simple for summer!
Looks like a lot of great items! The Daniel Rainn top was so cute.
Everyone loves that top! I guess I should have kept it! π
I got that top in my fix, and loved it (especially the detailing on the black fabric). You look great in all of your items – – sometimes you just can’t keep them all!
LOVE the Maggy London dress! I still haven’t tried out Stitch Fix yet. I need to hop on board!

Your outfit from last month is awesome. Those jeans fit perfectly, and that is so hard to find. I love the dress that you kept this time too. Super cute and practical for the summer.
Yes I dont have any jeans like that either… I was so surprised by how much I liked the whole look!
I love that off the shoulder top and those fringe wedges! Super cute stitch fix!
thank you! I loved the shoes but they just didnt fit well and for that price they better be perfect! π
I’m loving that simplistic top detail of the black maxi dress! I bet it would look great with a pair of accent earnings too. Maxis are my life!
We are soul sisters then since I love maxis! It was just too big on top, but I loved the length!! It was actually long enough for me which was amazing
I’m also typically anti-color, but I LOVE that maggi London Patrisha V-neck dress! Also, it looks fantastic on you!
Thank you, it was just not my style. If it was a bit cheaper maybe I would have kept it. π
I LOVE the Maggy London dress, but so expensive! You are too cute!!
Yes it was a bit pricey for a dress esp since I didnt LOVE it. π
I really love that Daniel Rainn top!
Thank you! A lot of people liked it, maybe I shouldnt have sent it back. ha!
Everything looked so great on you and perfect for summer! I love getting to see what others get on Stitch Fix. π
Me too! It is one of the reasons I love that stitch fix facebook board so very much! π
I am in love with that embrodered dress on you! Last month, I sent back my entire fix because it was a total bust…. two months in a row now! I’m nervous to try it again.
Do you have a pinterest fashion board for your stylist to look at? That helped me a lot and now that I have a stylist I love I request her every time. My sister in law hasnt had any luck either.. but she keeps trying since I am so obsessed and I keep telling her she just needs the right person!
I am sad that you didn’t keep the Maggy London dress… but that’s me being selfish because I love it on you! But you know what? Since it wasn’t your style, you don’t have to worry since more clothes are coming in next month. YAS! π
right and for 100 bucks I better love the dress! It was cute but I just knew I wouldnt wear it. π
I love Stitch Fix! I get clients all the time that need to adjust the fit on items they receive thru the mail which is perfectly normal since you are not there to try it on. Most of the time it’s the length adjustment. For the messages I get online I direct them to http://www.peanutsnthread.com so many helpful tips and tutorials on how to do it your self. It’s super way.
well that is a great way to keep the things you like when they have just minor fit issues!
All of these pieces are adorable! I am loving that navy dress!!
I cant wait to wear it! I love it so much!
The dress you kept is so pretty!
xoxo, Jenny
Thank you! I think it will be awesome for summer!
Oh wow, so many cute options. I LOVE the Black Maxi too cute π
I loved it too, it was just too big on top! π
don’t hate me but i kinda think you are so much cuter than those clothes – but i am one picky chick!
haha the clothes are really cute i swear… I just suck at taking pictures of them!
I am actually quite surprised by how cute all of these are! Nice finds!
thank you! My stylist rocks.. I love the stuff she picks out for me!
Bummer that maxi dress didn’t fit you, it looked really cute! I just returned all five of my items π
It can be so hit or miss, and that’s disappointing since I fill out all the feedback in specific detail.
It turned around for me when I updated my fashion pinterest board and linked it to my style profile. and now that I have the same stylist each time she is getting to know my likes and dislikes π
LOVE last month’s top! Super cute! You got so many cute dresses! I need to just take the plunge and try Stitch Fix once and for all
You will love it and the more specific you get on your style profile the better stuff you will get. Linking my fashion board on pinterest helped a lot as well! Good luck you will love it!
Seriously, love the picks this time. I wish Stitch Fix went up one size more, let them know that for me π Incentive lose 10 lbs. though.
I will tell them right now! π
I love the last dress on you and the shoes are super cute too. Isn’t it fun getting a little package every month! I liked a little too much. Just canceled three subscriptions! Ha ha.
I could see myself getting obsessed like that! I am like.. “Maybe I should get two deliveries a month… ” ha!
The patterned dress was actually my favorite on you. Great info!! I have been wondering about Stitch Fix.
A lot of people liked that one as well, I just knew I wouldnt get very much wear out of it… and for $100 I better LOVE it! π
I love everything you got – you look great! I love the dress you selected – so very awesome!
I wish they had something like this here in Canada. I hate shopping and would love to have someone make some picks for me every month.
Thanks for sharing!
xoxo
So many cute picks and the dress you kept is definitely my favorite! It’s perfect for Summer π

I’m obsessed with Stitch Fix!! Once you find the right stylist for you it makes a world of difference. I also noticed that once I started pinning from the Stitch Fix Pinterest board I had more success. LOVE the dress you kept!
I’ve been always wanting to try stitch fix, but I’m super lazy about returning things so I feel like I would probably end up keeping everything every time. With that being said, I LOVE that dress you sent back! Haha I think it looks great on you too. I do like a lot of the other items too. The first shirt is really cute too!
Oh what a tough decision! The embroidered dress is gorgeous and I love the floral split neck top.
Ooooh, Lauren!! Your May Fix was beautiful! Love your kept item! Great post!
Oooo! I’ve heard of Stitch Fix but never tried it! Love the fringe sandals!
I love the off shoulder top! So adorable! A lot of great picks this month!
I always enjoy seeing other people’s fixes…found yours on the FB Stitch Fix Reviews page. I love that blue embroidered dress – super cute!
