Enjoy a Sweet Slumber with Mommy’s Bliss

My kids don’t sleep. I have written about this issue before, and while baby girl’s sleeping schedule has improved SLIGHTLY, there is still no method to her madness when it comes to staying asleep.

My husband and I have tried all sorts of things to get her to stay asleep all night…

She sleeps better when she is really full, let’s load her full of carbs before bed.
Too many veggies make her gassy, cut those out after 3 pm.
She slept two nights in a row wearing those super warm fleece pajamas… lets buy a million of them and put them on her every night. (even though we live in South Florida)

We have not figured out a perfect combination that guarantees a good nights sleep, and maybe there isn’t one when it comes to my daughter. But when Mommy’s Bliss asked if I would be interested in their Sleep Slumber set, I jumped at the chance.

She DOES sleep, just not where she is supposed to!

I was familiar with the Mommy’s Bliss brand, since I used their gripe water when Mila was a newborn. I like the fact that the company uses natural ingredients without any harsh chemicals or parabens.

parabens

The three step system includes a shampoo & body wash/bubble bath, lotion, and a sheet mist. I am super sensitive to smells, so I was worried at first that the combination would be overwhelming, but it wasn’t. The lavender scent was light and pleasant. Mila has very sensitive skin, and none of these products caused any irritation.

In fact, Mila really loved the lotion and kept motioning for me to put on more. I did all 3 steps and went to bed hoping for a good nights sleep. Turns out, I got one… she slept until 5am, which I consider a win. The next night we did the same thing, and she woke up once.

However, I don’t even think the Sandman himself could get my kids to sleep through the night for a long stretch, so these small changes really make a difference to us! Mila loves the scent and looks forward her new bedtime routine.

While these products may not make her sleep through the night, every night… it definitely calms and relaxes her… making the whole process of bedtime easier.

You should! Baby girl really loves it, prob since it is the first scented product I have been able to use on her without bothering her skin!

I need this! I have a toddler who fights off sleep everynight. It's 11pm out here and guess who's awake!

Ahh, the never ending battle to get kids to sleep and stay asleep! I've recently been able to establish a better routine with mine since we moved, and I have tried "bedtime" washes and lotions…I haven't noticed a big difference, but maybe this one is worth a try! A good night's sleep for them equals a good one for me!!!

This is the first one I have tried… since I usually dont like scented stuff, but this is really light. Mila loves it.

So my youngest likes to sleep in the carseat and there's nothing more frightening than the dance of moving a sleeping toddler from the carseat to her crib. The mist looks awesome, I'll have to try it for me and her! 😉

Haha… when my daughter falls asleep in her carseat, I just bring it inside and leave her there! 😉

I feel your pain! My kids go in spurts-we never know what type of sleep each night will bring. This new night time routine sounds really nice. I wonder if it would work on my wound up toddler.
