My love of podcasts is nothing new, but lately my podcast tastes have changed a bit. I have moved away from blogging related podcasts and have been OBSESSED with healthy living, spiritual, woo-woo type podcasts. 😉
The Balanced Blonde: Soul on Fire– This is my current favorite. It is by Jordan Younger, who also blogs over at The Balanced Blonde. I love everything about this podcast. She has great discussions and has introduced me to a number of amazing people who I now stalk on Instagram. Jordan’s guest are experts on a range of topics including healthy eating, spirituality, crystals, meditation and so much more! Her solo podcasts are also great since she gets real about whatever is going on in her life.
The Lively Show– This podcast is by Jess Lively and is my second most played podcast. She is really into the “Law of Attraction”, getting into “alignment”, and all sorts of craziness that I am into. Start with her Quantum Living episodes to get a good idea of what the podcast is about. Jess may be a bit too “out there” for some people, but I a big believer in the law of attraction, so I dig it.
Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations: I love Oprah. She just started this podcast at the end of July and has already had SO MANY amazing guests. (I mean, who wouldn’t want to talk to Oprah?) I never watched her SuperSoul show on OWN, so I am glad to have easy access in this form. They are about 30 minutes long, which is perfect in my opinion.
Bulletproof Radio– This is by Dave Asprey, the same guy who invented bulletproof coffee and wrote the Bulletproof Diet. I read the book and while I think he makes good points, I don’t think anyone should be on his suggested diet of 50-75% fat. The fact that I listen to his podcast so much irritates me, since I think he is kind of a di*k. He always talks over guests and brings everything back to HIMSELF. Despite that, Dave has REALLY interesting guests. (when he stops talking about himself and lets them actually talk) He may irritate me, but his show content rocks and the Bulletproof brand MCT Oil is also amazing.
