How to Create a Custom Photo Book in Minutes

how-to-create-a-custom-photo-book-in-minutes-1

I don’t know about you, but I have thousands of pictures on my phone… and even more stuck on my computer. I love technology since I can take a photo of EVERY moment I want to capture. Back in the day, you used to have to bring a camera or buy one of those bright yellow disposable cameras. (I fully understand I am showing my age here.. but I digress) Then you would have to take the film to a store and wait for it to get developed. In high school and college it was so much fun to go pickup your prints since we usually had no idea what we would find on there!

My husband and I have books and books full of pictures from those days and we look at them every now and again. We recently showed them to our kids which was so much fun. It makes me sad that those books went away once technology improved. I know I have all the pictures saved on a hard drive, but it isn’t the same. I used to make a Shutterfly book at the end of each year, but I stopped doing that since the thought of creating the book was daunting to me. It is easy, but it does take time. Also, I was only using the best pictures… and sometimes the candid shots and more mundane moments are the most memorable. I needed a way to make a custom photo book in minutes.

Now Shutterfly is solving this issue with the Make my Book feature. All you do is upload your pictures, select the book size and theme (they have a ton to choose from), click through a few questions, leave a note for your designer and you are done. For an extra $9.99 they will create a beautiful, customized photo book. They do all the work!

I decided to make a book using the pictures on my phone that may have been deleted otherwise. The silly dress-up pictures of Mila, Hudson in his best ninja pose, family selfies that look cute.. but not frame-worthy cute. ๐Ÿ˜‰ The snapshots of my life that are simple and silly… I don’t want to forget that stuff. I used the Shutterfly app which uploads the pictures I select directly from my phone in minutes.

Don’t let those memories go to waste. Don’t lose precious moments because your phone is full or your hard drive bust. Take 5 or 10 minutes and get those pictures into a book to enjoy for years to come! Go to Shutterfly and check out the Make my Book feature… and be sure to search around for coupon codes, since Shutterfly always has great deals!!

Seriously??! I literally *just* wrote “create a photo book” on my to-do list, but had a thought in the back of my head that it wouldn’t get done because it takes too much time. This is amazing!!

I haven’t used the Make My Book feature yet but it is very appealing to me. While I love their hand made books it does just take so much time to get it right!
