Snowflake Party Pretzels

My sweet girl’s birthday is right around the corner and I have been trying to come up with fun snacks to serve at her party that all the kids will enjoy. I can bring whatever food I want to the party venue… which is always my preference and makes things so much more fun!

If you know my daughter (or have seen my social media at all) you won’t be surprised to hear that she wants everyone’s favorite ice and snow-themed princess party. When I was trying to think of fun snacks I immediately thought of Goldfish® crackers, since they are basically a staple in every family’s pantry! I am pretty sure I have served these at every single one of my kids birthday parties!

I decided these Snowflake Party Pretzels would be a hit with the kids, while looking pretty set up in little bowls. They take just a few minutes to make, and are sure to impress your guests!

For this recipe you will need:

  • Pretzel Goldfish Crackers
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Coconut Oil
  • Blue Food Coloring
  • “Ice Queen” Sprinkles

First, I melt the chocolate in two glasses by putting them in the microwave for 30 seconds-1 minute. Mix in a little coconut oil (1/2 a teaspoon or less) until the chocolate is super smooth and shiny. (this makes it much easier to work with)

Add a tiny bit of blue food coloring into one of the batches of chocolate. I made mine a light teal, to match the dress of the princess and the rest of the decorations. Scoop the chocolate into two separate Ziploc bags and seal them up.

Grab a cookie tray and line with wax paper. Spread the Pretzel Goldfish crackers flat on the tray. Snip a tiny hole in the corner of the plastic bag and drizzle away! I think this method works best and prevents any big clumps of chocolate that can make your masterpiece look sloppy. I do one color at a time. Then I grabbed the kids and they went to town on the sprinkles. We used all different kinds.. including Mila’s favorite snowflake sprinkles.

Next, just pop them in the fridge for at least 20 minutes and you are DONE. When you take the tray out it will be one big sheet of Goldfish cracker goodness! I break it up into smaller pieces, leaving some clumped together just for fun!

I picked up 2 of the bulk cartons of Goldfish Crackers at Wal-mart, since I also plan on putting out some Cheddar crackers for the kids to snack on. I found them in the crackers aisle & they are currently a rollback item!

How amazing do these look? They are so easy to make and I know all our party guests will love them!

Love it!! Such a cute snack for winter! And my son eats those crackers all the time, so I can attest that Walmart is one of the cheapest places to buy them in the bulk size.
