I love everything about Halloween. (Except scary movies. I hate those.) Every year, we gather up the kids and head over to my brother-in-laws house, since they have an amazing neighborhood full of Halloween spirit! It is always tons of fun for the kids… but recently a tradition has begun that makes the night a bit more enjoyable for the adults… TIPSY TABLES!

Past tipsy table fun!! |
Along with all the candy and pumpkins, some people have started setting
up tables with fun drinks & shots for the grown ups. After a few
years, all the neighbors know each other pretty well and feel
comfortable doing this. So this year we are planning to join in on the
fun with our own tipsy table.
I am going to be serving up some spiked gummies and orange shots! Both
are single serve and easy to grab & go. (I didn’t want to be mixing
drinks or pouring cocktails or anything like that) I decided to use
Mike’s Hard Black Cherry & Mike’s Hard Mango Punch for all my
concoctions.
Orange Shots:
1 Cup Mike’s Hard Mango Punch
1 Cup Water
2 Packets Knox Gelatin
Single-serve cups
Did you know you could make Jell-o shots without Jell-o? Well you can, and they are actually REALLY good. You can create them using any kind of alcohol you want, fresh juices… really the combinations are endless.Β Β All you need is plain gelatin. Easy. I added a bit of orange food coloring to the water before I warmed it up, since I wanted my shots to be really orange. Just warm the water enough to dissolve the gelatin powder. Then pour in the Mike’s. (also, if you have never tried the Mango Punch… it is really freaking good. My new favorite!)
I bought the little shot cups at Party City, but they also sell them on Amazon
(affiliate link). To get the mixture into the cups without making a huge mess, use a turkey baster. You will get the same amount every time, and no drips or spills! I tossed a few little gummy skulls into half of them to make them more festive.
Spiked Gummies:
Gummies of choice
Liquor of choice
Soaking container of choice
(seriously… can I make this ANY easier for you guys?!)
Target had eyeball gummies and brain gummies, perfect for this Halloween treat! Just put the gummies into a tupperware or mason jar, cover with your alcohol of choice and let it sit in the fridge for a day or two. I did one batch with the Mango & another with the Black Cherry. (I also added an extra shot of vodka to both containers, just for fun)
To serve these, I’m using plastic tongs and setting out a few of the small cups I used for the shots. People can fill their cup with spiked gummy goodness and be on their way!
So why not bring a tipsy table to your Halloween festivities this year? Trust me, your friends & neighbors will thank you!

Now that's my kind of fun! Thank you for sharing. π
Thanks for stopping by! I hope I gave you some fun ideas! π
Love the tipsy table idea. It's definitely something I'd like to try next year when I can actually participate in the drinking festivities. For now, I'll focus on gathering all the candies. π
Also loving the gummy shots idea. No one wants to play the role of bartender while everyone is enjoying themselves.
Right? I dont have time to pour drinks!! This is great to grab and go.. pepole have little kids to keep up with! ha!
Definitely want to go trick or treating in your neighborhood!!!
Come on by, we have a good time! π
Love this idea…especially since Halloween is on a Saturday night this year!
I know.. I am so glad I dont have to worry about taking off work or getting there late! π
This is sooooo cute and clever! You're pretty talented at this hosting thing. π
Thanks! I take my alcohol very seriously! π
i love love love this idea. we always do a yummy halloween cocktail at our halloween party – but this year but i may add those gummies. That's a fun new addition!
They turned out really good! The eyeball gummies (from target) expanded to these huge gooey eyeballs and it was so appropriately gross for Halloween!
Can we just live next to each other so that I can come to your fun parties???
OMG I would love that! We would have so much fun! (but you would quickly get annoyed with me begging you to do my makeup all the time! ha!)
Tipsy Table…my kind of get down!! LOVE this and thanks for the recipes!
Yes! Love some adult beverage fun on Halloween! I hope all is well with you!
Oh I've never heard of this before. It sounds like so much fun! I can now drink, so I can finally enjoy one of your tasty cocktails. This one looks good!
You had the baby! I totally missed that.. I just stalked your FB page to find a pic of your sweet girl!
How fun. I've never heard of that before. Looks like your Halloween is going to be fun!
Yes! I love Halloween… and I love themed drinks too! π
That looks like such a fun party!
Thank you! (& thanks for stopping by!) π
Tipsy Table sounds like so much fun! I'm thinking about having a Halloween Party, and if I do I'm definitely including this!!
Yes, you totally should! I hope you have a fun party!
I love the way these jello shots look with the candies inside!
Can I get an invite?!?! This sounds like so much fun (and a very much needed respite for the grown ups). And might I add – that is the best use of Halloween-themed gummies I've ever seen!
Please let me know the address & I will join in! What a great time for the adults! Thanks for sharing at #fridayfavorites!
I am in LOVE with the idea of tipsy tables. You are my kind of people. Gelatin scares me, but the shots look good. What a great idea!!!
