Happy September! I am loving this month so far, since I am obsessed with our #SeptemberScopers challenge! August was also fun so let’s get right into our Family Favorites!

Colourpop Lippies
I was introduced to Colourpop by Joanna at Motherhood & Merlot. I was intrigued by the fun colors and the affordable $5 price tag. Well now I am OBSESSED. Lumiere is my all time most favorite lip color. EVER. I have one at home and one in my purse and I bought my best friend a tube, too. They have so many other awesome colors! They are super pigmented and some are quite bright.. even a bit too bright for me. I have their original lippies and a few of the new sheer lippies, which I also love.

Donnie:
Mario Kart
So my son bought this game for the Wii with his birthday money, but I was SO excited about it. Not as excited as my husband though.. but close. In college, Donnie & I used to play Mario Kart all the time. (with his roommate Zach) We were super competitive with each other and Donnie used to piss us all off since he would ALWAYS win. Now we all play this together probably more than we should… and when Hudson goes to bed Donnie and I continue playing it. As much as it pains me to say this, Princess Peach (aka my husband) is still the Mario Kart champion… all these years later. (In case you are wondering I am Yoshi for life)

Karate
My sweet son has been asking us to sign him up for karate forever. But we had a hard time finding a place that offered classes for his age group that would work with our schedules. (especially since it is recommended that you do 2 classes a week) We finally found a place that has a flexible schedule, with evening classes during the week and even weekend classes. Hudson LOVES it. He lives in his karate outfit (his Gi). We have tried soccer and flag football in the past.. and he never really enjoyed it. It is so nice to see that he finally found something that he really loves and makes him feel good.

Mila:
Baby Doll
We have had this baby doll for awhile, it was a gift from her Grandma & Papa. It it her latest obsession and it is so sweet. She brings her baby everywhere!! When she says the baby is ‘crying’ she rocks her back and forth and makes the shhhhh sound. Love it!! The other day she was sitting next to me while I got ready and she was hugging her baby and she goes, “Mom… am I a good momma?” and I said, “Yes, you are the BEST momma to your sweet baby!” and she laughed and said, “NOOOOOO… YOU the best momma!” Melt. My. Heart.

Aw, I love this! And how so super sweet! You are the best momma! Omg I would have melted right there on the spot! We are ready to put jack into karate too, he's been wanting to for a while now but we might be moving so we are kind of limbo right now. Sounds like you had a great month, momma!

That's so awesome that you and Donnie put Hudson into karate. One thing that I regret as an adult now is not having gone all the way to completing my training and becoming a black belt in taekwondo. It's such a great way of becoming confident (while at the same time being humbled due to the fact that you understand how many people can actually kick your butt if they wanted). It's also an awesome way of learning self discipline.
I've been wanting to try Colorpop for awhile. Now, you've convinced me! Love the pics of the kiddos. Ps. I finally signed up for Periscope, so I will try this weekend.

Any suggestions on a good baby doll with accessories? My 3.5 year old daughter is yearning for one to care for and I don't know of a good one that's right for her age.

Okay, you had me sold at the ColourPop Lippies! I've never seen these & $5 is a steal! And I LOVE MARIOKART. We still have an old Super Nintendo we can play on 🙂 thank you so much, I think someone is off to buy some new Lippies right now 🙂
MY boys have been eyeing a karate place we often walk by when we're out and about…I think it's great your little one is so into it… i'm sure I'll be signing mine up at some point too!
I can't wait till my kids are old enough to play Mario Kart. I keep seeing all these cool toys coming out and I think, "In just a few years I get to buy all this cool stuff."
I have thought about doing karate with my kids. Right now we are all loving rock climbing.
