Back To School Teacher Survey {Printable}

Next week my son goes back to school, and I learned a lot last year when he was in kindergarten. I learned how to stay involved while also being a working mom, and I found out there are LOTS of opportunities to get gifts for teachers! I think teachers are underpaid and under appreciated, so I will happily take any chance I get to give them a little gift. But I want to get them stuff they actually LIKE. Asking a 5 or 6 year old what their teacher is into is a total lost cause. (“I’m pretty sure she likes Lego Star Wars.” Oh really?)

So this year I created a teacher survey for my son to bring to school. Not sure if it’ll work, but I figured it was worth a try. I made it short enough that it won’t take a lot of time to fill out. I just want to know the basics… birthday, coffee or tea, and their favorite stores to get gift cards from! This will make getting those gifts SO much easier, especially since I always wait until the very last minute to pick something up.

This is my very first printable download, and I know it’s not TOO fancy… but it was my first try and I am NOT crafty! I hope you like it!

    so this may sound harsh but here goes: while i do love teachers – i'm kind of under a different mind set… sometimes, at least at the schools my kids go to – i feel like teachers are paid pretty well as they grow (have amazing pensions if in public), get lots of time off, much help from parents and PLENTY of gifts. Again, at least in my "district"… and i love good teachers!

      Thats awesome for teachers in your district, but well-paid or not… everyone like to be appreciated, either with a little birthday note or a gift card to a place where you will actual use it! 😉

    Super Cute idea! I usually try to find unique gifts for teachers. Books I like, or a neat journal, or a nice lotion or scrub, or necklaces. Like those one on your site a while ago…from Jane? Just anything simple! LEt us know if she fills it out!

    Cute. Great job for it being your first.

    Pretty soon you'll need to add "Tim Hortons" to the list.
