After talking about my love for kids parties, I thought it would be a good idea to post some of my favorite gifts to bring. It makes it easier when you know what works, and sometimes when I see these items on a good sale I will buy a few and just keep them in the closet so I’m ready to go for the next party!
Here’s a list of some of my go-to birthday gifts, by age group. (and when in doubt, buy some books… its a refreshing change from the other toys they will get)
Age 1-2:
Tag Junior reading system: My son loved this and used his forever, it’s a less common gift that parents love. (and the kids do, too!)

Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Say Please Tea Set: The teapot makes the cutest sounds!
V-tech Baby’s Learning Laptop: for the future software engineer
Age 3-4:
Magna-tiles: these things are AMAZING! Kids can create the coolest things.

Fur-Real pets: Super cute pets that walk and bark or purr and meow, seems simple enough but I have found kids really love em.
Age 5-6:
Stomp rocket: these things are good for a wide range of ages, they can be for younger kids too. Kids can have a blast with these both outside and indoors!

Craft Kits: they sell a bunch of different kinds of these at Michael’s craft stores, and if you are on their email list there is always 40% off coupons, so you can usually snag a great, creative gift for about 10 bucks.
