Warren Buffett is the most successful investor of our time. He is the 3rd richest man in the world… and he also happens to be my boss. Local 10 is the FIRST and ONLY news station ever acquired by Buffett’s company, Berkshire Hathaway.

The “Oracle of Omaha” has owned the station for just over a year, and yesterday he decided to stop by for his first visit. He sat down with the president of our station, Bert Medina, to take questions from employees. Buffett’s passion for investing started young. He told us he began studying the stock market when he was just 7 years old, and bought his first stock at age 11.
Now at 85, Buffett still goes into work every single day. He said if he hadn’t been an investor, he would have wanted to be a reporter! He also told us he loves cherry coke, spends about 80% of his day reading and occasionally eats ice cream for breakfast!
Warren Buffett may be worth $70.2 billion… but you would never know it talking to him! He was friendly, funny and interacted with everyone. He posed for tons of pictures, including lots of selfies! Check out the news story we did with him here!
