If you know me, you know that I am obsessed with monthly subscription boxes. I am also not the most crafty person… so I especially enjoy craft boxes for kids since it is nice to have them around for a rainy afternoon or evening. When Kith & Kin contacted me, I was really excited to try out their box, since the projects on their website looked amazing! (like.. there is no way this was done by a kid amazing!)

These boxes are ment to be done together… with parent involvement. My box came with everything I needed to create beautiful clay bowls. Both my son & daughter were really excited when I showed them what they would be making. The directions were clear and easy to understand.

Mila loved playing with the clay and making little clay “snakes” which would help to create the swirl effect. Hudson really liked the part where you twist the clay. We all had lots of fun rolling out the clay to see how the colors marbled together to make an awesome (& unique!) pattern. I helped to shape my daughter’s clay into the glass bowl, but my son did his all by himself.

So much fun! |
After 15 minutes in the over our bowls were finished! I was super impressed by how cute they were, although I wish I would have made the clay go all the way to the top of the bowl. I didn’t and our bowls were a little shallow. (which was okay for us, since I was planning to using it as a ring holder)

We loved how they turned out! |
Hudson liked how his bowl turned out so much, that he decided he wanted to give it to his Grandma as a little gift. Boxes start at $29.99, but go down in price depending on how long you subscribe. If you are looking for a fun craft, that you could actually use & display… check out Kith & Kin!

Oh I really love that idea for a subscription box! That sounds like so much fun. I'm sure my son would love to do some crafts with me. It's nice not to have to think of things and get all the supplies too.
Wow this is a really cute box for kids! ( I wish they would have had these kinds of kits when I was young.) I like that it is complete. So many times having to buy separate supplies can get expensive.
