Hope everyone is having a fantastic 2015 so far! How are those resolutions coming? I have been pretty good about going to bed earlier and decluttering one new area each week. I have NOT been working out as much as I would like. I don’t think that is going to pick back up until my daughter starts sleeping again. (sigh)
Here is what our family is loving this month!!
Lauren:
Dermarie Hexapeptide Serum with Hyaluronic Acid
My very best friend Natalie gave me this since I have been complaining about my wrinkles to her. So she sent me this and I love it. This serum is supposed to help plump up your skin and smooth out your wrinkles. I also like the ‘syringe’ style packaging, funny. (Nat calls it faux-tox! haha!) I have been trying to use it regularly as part of my 2015 plan to take better care of my skin. (I even did a face mask this week… I haven’t done one of those since college!) I use it under my makeup everyday. My skin feels super smooth and glowy after I use it. It doesn’t make me shiny, either… since I have combination skin. I am seriously obsessed. Besties know best.
Donnie:
Roc Multi Correxion 5-in-1 Restoring Night Cream
Now that I am taking better care of my skin, my hubby wants to do the same. It started with questions. “What are you putting on your face?” “Should I be putting stuff on MY face??” So he asked me to buy him a face cream, but made it VERY clear that he wanted it from a drug store, since he KNOWS I would spend waaaay to much money on a fancy cream for him if given the chance. (He NEVER buys himself anything, so when he actually wants something I tend to go all out) This ROC cream had pretty good reviews (& I had never tried it) so I got it. He loves it! After hearing “I can’t believe how soft my face is” for a few days in a row… I started using it at night, too. Now my face is also soft. So there.
Hudson:
Nerf Guns
We have an arsenal of Nerf guns. Santa brought a HUGE one that also shoots these big foam missiles. He has been playing with these every single weekend. He gets together with the neighbors and they have wars, duels, they fight aliens, they protect the princess (Mila, duh) I could go on and on. It also makes for a fun game of ‘find the foam darts’ since they are EVERYWHERE.
Mila:
ANYTHING and EVERYTHING Frozen
Mila is just now getting on the Frozen bandwagon.. She started singing, “Let It Go” before she ever saw the movie. (apparently they play the soundtrack at daycare sometimes) So I borrowed Grandma’s copy of the movie (since Grandma has EVERYTHING) and she’s been a goner ever since. She sings all the songs, dances around and wants everything with Anna & Elsa’s picture on it. She begs me to listen to the soundtrack in the car. Even though we have watched it a million times, I’m not sick of it yet. I just love hearing her try to sing all the songs in her sweet little toddler talk. And it’s a cute movie. (sorry… it is!!)
What are your family favorites this month? Any stand-out toys from the holidays?

So much frozen! My boys sing Let It Go too! And I agree, it is a cute movie….even after watching it 1000 times! 🙂
I know I will get sick of it soon, but right now she enjoys it so much! ha! Have a great week!
Both of those face creams sound great. I love reading about products from real people. And Frozen, even I love Frozen.
I do too, I tend to buy stuff real people try instead of basing it on advertising. Which is why beauty blogs are bad news for me… since I buy everything!! haha
I think we have hit the 1000th viewing of Frozen at our house.. Just can't get enough. I think I need some of that face cream, time is catching up 🙁
It happens quick right? I woke up a few months ago thinking, "Who is this person????" Now I am slathering on every cream I can find! Better late than never right?
Oooh, I love hearing about people's different skin product recommendations. I am currently testing out coconut oil to see if it helps with my acne prone, dry winter skin!

I tried coconut oil but for some reason it always made me feel kind of sticky (??) Maybe I bought the wrong kind. My friend swears by it as a hair treatment so that is next on my list!
I'm going to have to check out those skin products. My skin is so awfully dry right now because of the weather. haha My son is only 18 months, we don't really want moves, but he still LOVES frozen. I don't know what it is about that movie.
Yes, Frozen in the ONLY movie she watches.. I think I am going ot buy her a copy of little mermaid for her birthday since I love that movie. 🙂
I really need to start taking care of my skin too-I'm terrible!! I think you know that my daughter is all about Frozen too. I wish she liked singing the songs like Mila though, that would be so adorable! And I agree, it is a really cute movie! (Thank the Lord!)
