Subscription Box Roundup with Cratejoy

I told you about Cratejoy a few weeks ago. It’s a site that has all the monthly subscription boxes out there, in one place. So if you are looking for a fun gift or a new way to treat yourself, you can go to Cratejoy’s website and narrow down your list to find the perfect subscription box for you!

This month, they sent me 4 randomly selected subscription boxes to try out. They want to make sure the boxes on their site are up to par.. and what better way to check then to send them to me? 😉 So this month I got boxes from Helene Jewelry, Simple Loose Leaf, Spa Heroes and Bitsbox.
Helene Jewelry

Helene Jewelry: This is all about showing off your arm candy. Each month they send you a new bracelet, a nail polish, and a hair tie. You fill our your style preferences… and you can even add on earrings and necklaces. The bracelet wasn’t really my style but it was good quality. The nail polish was a perfect summer watermelon red/orange… it’s on my toes right now and I love it. The coral and gold anchor hair tie is super cute. These boxes start at $25.

Simple Loose Leaf Tea

Simple Loose Leaf Tea: I love love love tea… so this box was very exciting! It came with 4 bags of loose leaf tea, organic sugar packets, and two muslin bags to steep the tea in. (I have never seen these used to steep tea before… I am sure it works but I used the tea thing I already had) It came with Yerba Mate, Irish Breakfast, Shui Xian Oolong, and Chinese Jade. The Chinese Jade is my favorite, which didn’t surprise me since green tea is my go-to tea. For $13 a month I can tell you this box is a STEAL! Loose leaf tea is expensive, and they send you a lot… and it is all really good quality.

Bitsbox

Bitsbox: This is a box that teaches kids how to create their own apps by learning code. The box comes with code trading cards that has instructions on how to create different apps, a book, a toy (ours had a slinky) and a bunch of other fun stickers and temporary tattoos. You create the actual app yourself on Bitsbox.com using the coding and then you get a QR code to scan so you can play the app you made. Pretty cool idea.

Spa Heroes

Spa Heroes: Each month you get a box full of non-toxic beauty products. My box came with a full sized shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner spray from a company called Innersense. They are free of Sulfates, Parabens, Phtalates and other gross toxins. I really love all of these products. They smell like the products at the Aveda salon where I get my hair colored, and that is a good thing! This box starts at $39 a month, but there is a coupon code on Cratejoy to get $5 off. I went to the Innersense website and the products they sent me retails for $62.. without tax and shipping costs.. so this is a great deal even without the coupon.

So there you go, my subscription box round-up for this month! I hope I helped you find something you may have been looking for… if not… check out Cratejoy! They have tons of options, and they make it really easy to search for exactly what you need.

*Disclosure: Cratejoy sent me complementary boxes to try, but as always, opinions are entirely my own!

You get the COOLEST stuff! I need to actually check my email and get some of these but the coding box looks really interesting. Is your son old enough for that? It must feel like Christmas when you open them!

I've tried out a few different sub boxes, but now I'm just down to my monthly Loot Crate box. Lol. I'm a bit geeky, and it's awesome. I'll have to check out crate joy.

I didn't know this website existed! I've tried out a few monthly boxes but stopped because I ended up with may too many little samples of things I would never use. I love that they're coming up with ones that are more than just makeup, though! The jewelry one looks like it could be a lot of fun!
