My sweet boy is turning 10 this month. I know every mom says this, but I seriously can’t believe it. Time is really flying by and my husband and I are doing our best to savor every moment with him. Right now, he still loves to hang out with us, so we have both been trying to make a conscious effort to carve out quality time. Hudson loves anything that involves the outdoors, so we have been going for walks or feeding the fish outside our lake. If it is raining, he loves to kick my butt at chess. 😉
My husband and him can wrestle for hours. They literally throw each other around and for some reason it is the most fun thing ever. I have no idea why guys love this so much, but I guess it is not for me to understand. Ha! When Donnie needs a wrestling break, sometimes they will head out for a bike ride. Recently, Dynacraft sent them two new bikes to help make their bonding time that much better.
The bikes have the same sleek style and look, but one is kid-sized and the other gives my 6’2 hubby a comfortable ride. My son loves that he matches dad, since Donnie is his ultimate idol. This is also Hudson’s first bike with gears, which apparently is a very exciting thing. (to be specific it has a 7-speed grip shift) Both bikes feature dual suspension and front and rear V breaks. My son loves the bright neon green color and I have to admit both bikes look pretty sharp.

Some of the best memories I have as a kid are of going on long bike rides with family and friends. I was fortunate enough to live in a safe area which allowed me to roam the neighborhood on my bike. My first 10 speed was my first real sense of freedom.
